ICICI Bank and BOM gets permission to deposit PM-Cares Fund

Private sector ICICI Bank and Public Sector Bank of Maharashtra have got permission to deposit donations for PM-CARES fund. Bank of Maharashtra has said that people can make donations through cash, RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, check and demand draft.
On the other hand, ICICI Bank has said that any person can contribute to this fund through digital mediums like Internet banking, RTGS and NEFT. The amount deposited in the PM-CARES fund will be used to help those affected by the coronavirus epidemic.
100% of the contribution to this fund will be exempt from income tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. The information given by ICICI Bank is as follows:
