Indian Rail Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has postponed the booking of its three private trains till 30 April. Railways had suspended their services till April 14 due to a 21-day lockdown announced from March 25 during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation.
In which booking was to start from 15th April But IRCTC has closed the booking of these three trains – Kashi Mahakaal Express on the Varanasi-Indore route, the Lucknow-New Delhi Tejas and the Ahmedabad Mumbai Tejas by April 30.
Officials said that the decision not to run trains till April 30 has been made keeping in mind that cases of coronavirus in the country are increasing day by day. All passengers who book tickets during that period will get full refunds, (IRCTC) has informed this.
