The death toll in Maharashtra has crossed 100 since covid-19. At the same time, the number of infected in the state has reached 1380. The first death from infection in the state occurred on 17 March. But after April 2, the death toll rose sharply, from March 17 to April 1, in 14 days, 13 people died due to infection. At the same time, 98 people died in two days from April 2 to April 10.

There are about seven thousand cases of infection in India. At the same time, the number of infected in Maharashtra is more than 1400. That is, every fifth patient is from Maharashtra. Corona infection has spread to 22 out of 36 districts of the state.

The death toll in the country is 255. There have been 108 deaths in Maharashtra. That is, four out of every 10 deaths occurred in Maharashtra.
