The all-time record of 109 international goals is still held by Ali Daei of Iran.

Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday became the second ever male footballer to complete a century of goals in international football after netting in his 100th for Portugal in a UEFA Nations League contest against Sweden.

Ronaldo converted a free-kick just outside the box before the half-time to reach three figures, and then scored his second of the night in the 72nd minute as Portugal won 2-0.

The all-time record of 109 international goals is still held by Ali Daei of Iran.

Ronaldo made his senior debut at the age of 18 in 2003 and scored his maiden goal against Greece at the 2004 Euro Championship.
